Ozzy Osbourne Warns Us Not to Snort Liquid Death

Liquid Death's latest ad features Ozzy Osbourne warning teens not to snort, inject, or "boof" their new Death Dust electrolyte mix. This campaign show how brands can lean into a bold brand identity to connect with their audience.
'And don’t even think about boofing it!'
Not a phrase I thought I’d ever hear from a water commercial.
However, as we’ve learned, Liquid Death is no normal water company.
And Ozzy Osbourne is no normal celebrity.
That’s why the two are a match made in advertising heaven in the brand’s latest 40-second commercial. In the ad, Ozzy warns a pair of teens not to snort their new product.
The ad's so on brand for both brands. And I’m obsessed.
If you’re Gen-Z and didn’t grow up listening to Black Sabbath, hearing the bat rumour, or binge-watching The Osbournes on MTV, you probably won’t know the difference between this man and one of the old bikers at your grandad's retirement village.
But let me say this. John Michael 'Ozzy' Osbourne is a rock legend, also dubbed 'The Prince of Darkness.'
He's best known for cussing like a sailor, long dark hair, themes of the occult, slurred mumbling stutter, tea-shade glasses and his thick Birmingham accent.
All of which makes him the most compatible celebrity for Liquid Death's new campaign.

Sports Events Enter Their Luxury Era

The live sports experience is shifting towards luxury and exclusivity, with venues like the Map & Flag Club at the Masters Tournament offering high-end amenities for a hefty price.
Beer in hand. Hot dog in the other. Plastic fold down seats in a stadium of fans and foes.
Bright lights. Kiss cams. Loud cheering and Mexican waves.
This is the typical live sport experience we all know and love.
But now, the live sports experience is drastically changing to one of luxury and exclusivity.
If you can afford it, that is.
Swap the beer for champagne and the hot dog for oysters and shrimp cocktail.
Instead of bleachers, watch the game in an intimate suite, where jerseys hang on the wall and the breakfast sandwiches are available by 8am.
All you need is a lazy $17,000.
If this doesn't sound familiar to you, I'm talking about the Map & Flag Club, a luxurious hospitality venue introduced by the Augusta National Golf Club. It's the 'first and only official hospitality experience' hosted outside the gates of the Masters Golfing Tournament.
The club is one of many examples of how teams, leagues, and event organizers are changing sports viewership as we know it.

Trend Plug - How Many Aura Points Did I Lose?

How many aura points did I lose trying to come up with a title for this trend?
This trend originates from Billie Eilish's 'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT' album. The song WILDFLOWER pairs perfectly with everybody's favourite brainrot trend 'aura.' 'Aura' meaning cool, so ff someone were to lose 'aura points,' they would lose 'cool points.'
TikTokers are using this trend to ask how many aura points they've lost after situations like crying because their bf cheated on them or even hypothetical situations, like deleting social media and moving across the globe.
How to jump on this trend:
Using this sound, share an embarrassing moment that might decrease your 'aura points.'
A few ideas to get you started:
'How many aura points did I lose when I called my client the wrong name?'
'How many aura points did I lose when my intern showed up the meeting before me?'
'How many aura points did I lose when I recorded my podcast in slow motion?'

Q - I've been promoting my new course for nurses on my socials but I'm not getting any leads. What am I doing wrong? - Erika
Hey Erika!
If you aren't getting leads, I'm going to make a guess that you're coming across too salesy in your content. Organic content's for building a relationship with your audience, so if they feel like you're trying to sell them something, they'll tune you out.
If I were you, I'd pull back on promoting your course. Instead, create content around what the course is about. Then engage with your audience in the comments to keep building those relationships. Because those relationships are what will make people interested in buying from you.
You can still mention your course in your content, just don't do it in every post. Because if you're just selling in your content, no one will be interested in watching it!
