How to Never Run Out of Content Ideas
Presented by The Cohort

There are no new ideas—only remixes of what others have done. The cure for the blank screen is knowing where to find inspiration to draw from, then understanding how to apply it to your own content.
What if I told you that everything is a remix? And nothing is truly original?
Art builds on art. What comes before is a foundation, and new art is built upon that foundation.
The same can be said when it comes to all human creativity – no concept is one of one. The importance lies within our ability to copy and transform.
Have you ever stared at a blank screen, trying to force a brilliant content idea out of thin air? You’re better off watching paint dry.
Luckily, inspiration isn’t some elusive muse that only visits in the dead of night. It’s everywhere.
You just need to know where to look and, more importantly, how to use it.
Forget about conjuring up a completely original idea.
What makes your content special isn’t its novelty; it’s you. Your voice, your perspective, and your unique twist on what’s already out there.
So, let’s break down how to become a master of inspired content creation, step by step.
Where do I find inspiration?
Look at what’s already been proven to work.
Success leaves clues. And, in the world of content, those clues are in the metrics.
So stop relying on your gut and start scrolling with purpose. Look for videos or posts that are already crushing it in terms of views, shares, and comments.

Why Cristiano Ronaldo Has 1 Billion Followers

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most followed man on earth, with 1 billion followers across platforms. By balancing consistency, relatability, and smart partnerships, he offers a blueprint for brands aiming for long-term impact.
The unstoppable CR7.
Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t just a footballer; he’s a phenomenon.
A legend.
Ask any young man their opinion on him and cue an outpouring of positive anecdotes.
Ask almost any woman, at almost any age, and their feedback is just as positive.
Aside from being the most-followed person on Instagram, this year Cristiano Ronaldo became the first person ever to hit 1 billion followers across all social media platforms.
I think it's safe to say that has cemented his place as the most adored man on the planet.
While athletes like Hamilton and Beckham also have dedicated fanbases, Ronaldo operates in a stratosphere of his own.
What makes him different? Because surely, it’s more than just talent on the pitch?
Ronaldo’s rise offers a masterclass in personal branding, fandom cultivation, and cultural relevance.
His success stems from a perfect blend of consistency, global appeal, and digital savvy.
Of course, his athletic performance speaks for itself—two decades at the top of his game have built trust, loyalty, and admiration among fans.
It’s a consistency that mirrors reliable brands like Apple or Nike, delivering not just quality but an expectation of excellence. But Ronaldo’s appeal isn’t just tied to his footballing prowess.

Trend Plug - MUSTAAAAAAARD

Kendrick Lamar dropped a surprise album late last week. And now, TikTok's screaming about everyone's favorite yellow condiment.
The hip hop star couldn't seem to contain his excitement in having DJ Mustard - who produced the beat to the smash-hit 'Not Like Us' - back for his new album, GNX.
As the beat switches near the 2-minute mark on the track 'tv off', Kendrick unexpectedly belts his producer's name at the top of his lungs - not once, but twice.
We may never know what zesty convictions came over the Compton rapper in the studio. But it doesn't matter now - it only took minutes for yellow stains to be made on TikTok, where people are getting hundreds of thousands of views for roaring 'MUSTAAAAAAAARD!!!'
How you can jump on this trend:
All you really need is this soundbite and a bit of imagination! There's the obvious places for it, like when your hot dog isn't saucy enough (or when you have too much sauce on your hands).
But it's also being used wherever screaming feels appropriate (just ask Lizzo). So yes - even you strange mustard haters can get on board!
A few ideas to get you started:
'When the Home Depot employee asks what shade of yellow paint you're after.'
'Coming back from the store and remembering that thing you forgot.'
Putting the soundbite over famous yelly moments (see God of War or Paul Revere).

Q - How do I write better hooks for my LinkedIn posts? I feel like mine are boring and no one is engaging. - Leo
Hey Leo!
Love that you're looking at your hooks, since as I'm sure you know if the hook is boring, no one will read everything else you've written!
When it comes to hook inspo, my suggestion is to spend more time on the platform noticing what grabs your attention. Then question what it was that each of those hooks did well.
Were they controversial? Were they informative? Did they invoke curiosity? Don't discount the importance of an attention-grabbing photo or graphic to go along with the post.
Create a swipe file of good hooks you can adapt for your own posts. You can even categorise them based on type so it's easier to find a style that will work each time you go to write your own.
Lastly, experiment. There are so many types of hooks, and what works for someone else's audience may not work for yours. The more you work on improving your hooks, the better you will eventually get!
