Whoever leaked our TAS budget is getting fired.
Seriously. That was not meant to happen.
We’re working on figuring out who it was. ANYWAY. Let’s just try to move on, please.
In today's newsletter:
The Dune 2 hype's in full swing (learn how you can get in on the action)
Cardi B's new song goes viral (find out what we can learn from her!)
Sydney Sweeney hosts SNL (and gives us a lesson in turning a rumour into comedy gold)

So, What’s the Tea?

Over the weekend, Timmie Sham popped on the big screen as Dune 2 delivered an enormous $178.5M opening.
Meaning the hype is HYPING and it's the perfect time for you to piggyback off it. But how can you make content based on a blockbuster film?
Well, have you heard of the Dune 2 Popcorn Bucket? You could create a similar challenge for your team for some fun video content. This may be too spicy for your business, but as an independent creator, it may fit your niche.
Cardi B dropped a new song and she used some pretty viral marketing techniques to promote it. (NSFW warning, but do we really need to warn you when it comes to our raunchy queen?) The woman truly has a talent for going viral. Take notes, people!
Euphoria's bombshell Sydney Sweeney hosted SNL over the weekend. She was part of so many hilarious skits, a few of which are already gaining virality on social media. She even tackled the recent affair rumours with co-star Glen Powell. This included a fun bit that cut to Glen in the audience instead of Sweeney's fiancé, turning an awkward sitch into comedy gold.
And the internet was obsessed with this moment! It didn't take long for it to go viral on TikTok.
While it's still circulating social media, why not join the fun by creating content around this clip? Use a sound bite and add your own twist. You could even create an original hilarious take by addressing a silly rumour in your office.
Creating an unforgettable team culture

At TAS, our team culture is a huge part of our brand. But that doesn’t just happened by accident. Creating that kind of culture comes down to a few strategies.
Our team culture and the TAS brand are completely intertwined. But we’ve had to be really intentional about creating that kind of culture. Because it doesn’t happen automatically.
Here’s 4 weekly rituals that have helped us build that culture:
#1 The Morning Huddle
This sacred half hour happens at 8:30am every day. During the huddle, each of us talks about how another team member has lived one of our core values. We also have the chance to share what challenges we're facing in the day ahead and ask for help.
The final part of huddle is for Legends & Learnings. Legends are moments where someone went above and beyond for one of our clients. And Learnings are our takeaways from books, podcasts, or other lessons we've learnt recently.
#2 Eat, Play, Love
A team that lunches together stays together. For us, lunch is a chance to be social and get to know each other better. Some days we also play group games whilst filming a TikTok or two.
#3 Atarimae
This is a Japanese concept that literally means "routine". At TAS, doing our own cleaning is party of our daily routine. From scrubbing toilets to washing our dirty dishes and vacumming the floors, we take care of our office ourselves. This means we all have a shared sense of ownership for not only our space, but the work we do.
#4 10X Yourself
Every Friday afternoon, we spend time learning from each other. Sometimes we learn new ways to make content and other times we talk about topics like communication or giving feedback. We also learn about the interworkings of the business, even down to the financials! 10X is about levelling up our knowledge banks and working better as a team.
Although these 4 rituals may not seem significant, they're a big reason our team culture is so strong. If you want to create a brand built around your culture, you may want to try one of these in your own team! Let us know how it goes.

Q - How many coffees does Stan drink in a day? - Avinash
Hey Avinash,
I know this question was meant for whoever leaked that TAS budget yesterday. And don't worry, we're working on figuring out who that was.
But just to prove we've got a handle on our newsletter account again, I thought I'd go ahead and answer your burning question.
I can confirm that Stan drinks 5-6 coffees every day. I mean, he bought a $12,000 coffee machine for the office. It would be a shame for that to not get used, right?
Come to think of it, maybe Stan’s high caffeine intake is to blame for all the crazy ideas he throws our way. It would be great if he could just chill every now and then. But it is what it is.
